Incoming kindergarten students are encouraged to stop by the playground from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday, August 20. There is no formal meeting or presentation. This activity is designed to be play time, and a chance to visit school before classes actually start. Mr. Patterson and the kindergarten teachers will be available also to answer any questions you might have.

Please join us on Thursday, August 20, for our annual Back-to-School/Open House event. Class lists will be posted at 12:00 near the front entry. Our BAT parent organization will begin serving popsicles at 3:30. The school doors open at 4:00, and families are encouraged to walk the building, visit classrooms, drop off school supplies, and catch up with friends. There will be grade level presentations at 4:30 and 5:15 (the same information is repeated during both presentations) so parents with more than one child can hear the important information shared.
The school office is closed for the summer. Phone messages won't be chacked until our return. Please contact us after July 29th, when the office is open again for the new school year.
Be prepared for the first day of class by collecting all your school supplies in advance. Bring your supplies to our "Back to School Open House" on August 18.
We will be having our annual "5th Grade Students vs Staff" kickball game on Tuesday, May 26th. The lunch schedule will be modified to allow the game to occur during lunch/recess. Students in other grades can watch the game, or play at recess as they normally would. Modified lunch times are: 12:00-12:20-5th grade, 12:10-12:30- 4th Grade, 12:20-12:40- 3rd Grade, 12:25-12:45- Kdg, 12:30-12:50- 1st, and 12:35-12:55- 2nd.
Despite the rain last night and the wet fields, we are still moving ahead today with Field Day. The only thing that will cause us to cancel at any point this morning would be heavy rain (we will still have Field Day if it is lightly sprinkling), and/or we experience thunder/lightning. K-2 will have games from 9:00-10:30, and 3-5 will have their activities from 10:30-12:00. We will follow the regular lunch schedule.
Been thinking about kindergarten for next year? Now is the time to enroll. Kindergarten registration will be held on Thursday, February 12th. We will be enrolling students for our full-day, tuition-based classes (8:30-3:08), and for the half-day class (8:30-11:45), which is scheduled for mornings only. Feel free to call with any questions you have.
It’s Sockentine’s Day Time!!! This is Kindness Club’s way of spreading kindness and love during February. Kindness Club will be collecting warm socks of all sizes. We donate socks for women and children to Crossroads Safe House here in Ft. Collins and the men’s socks to an emergency homeless shelter in Denver. Last year a former student who worked for this shelter told us she was able to hand out each pair of socks to individual folks who really needed them and who were very grateful.
