Welcome back to school! The first day is Wednesday, August 23. School starts at 8:30, and ends at 3:08 (except 1/2 day kinder, which releases at 12:30 each day). We are looking forward to welcoming our students back.
Be prepared for the first day of school by collecting your child's supplies. Please contact the office if you need help, we have most of these items on hand if your child needs anything.
All families new to Beattie are invited to enroll their student on August 1 (10:00-6:00), and August 2 (8:00-4:00). You do not have to enroll if you are a continuing student. Please bring a copy of immunizations, birth certificate, and proof of residency in our attendace area.
The weather doesn't look any better for Friday, May 19. Our 5th Grade Picnic and Celebration will continue as scheduled, and will be moved indoors if necessary. The picnic will still begin at 12:30 in classrooms, with student recognition and games occurring after everyone has had the chance to eat. Families are welcome to bring lunch unless they have purchased pizza. 5th grade students will eat free. We are happy to have the chance to celebrate our students, regardless of the weather.
Field Day is happening as scheduled on Thursday, May 18. The weather forecast looks bad, which will likely cause us to move the stations inside and modify them as necessary. We still believe we can provide a safe and fun event for everyone. The picnic lunch that was planned will also occur inside, in classrooms instead of on the lawn. Please bring a sack lunch unless one was ordered from the kitchen. Families are also welcome to attend.
Please join us for our annual Spring Fling School Carnival. This year, we have a pirate theme with many fun games and activities. A taco dinner is also available from 5:00-7:30pm. The carnival is on April 6, from 5:00-8:00pm. This is a family event, and everyone is welcome to attend.
Thanks for your support of our school through your fundraising efforts. The Fall Frolic was successful, and we raised over $8,000. Students enjoyed the run, the prize giveaways, and watching Mr. Patterson's hair turn blue and orange as we accomplished our fundraising goal. Way to go Beattie students!
