I am honored to join the Beattie Elementary community as Assistant Principal. For the past 10 years, I have served students and families across a variety of educational settings, including Early Childhood Special Education, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. Most recently, I completed my Educational Leadership & Principal Licensure program through the University of Northern Colorado and am excited to continue growing alongside the Beattie team.
My leadership is rooted in three core values: relationships, collaboration, and visibility. I believe strong relationships create the conditions for learning and growth, while high expectations, effective instruction, and systems of support help every student succeed. As a servant leader, my goal is to be present, approachable, and focused on helping both students and staff reach their full potential.
I strive to communicate in ways that are transparent, consistent, and student-centered. I believe in listening first, seeking to understand, and ensuring people feel heard, respected, and informed.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my corgi, Ziggy, golfing, working on jigsaw puzzles, and being near the water, whether that's at a pool, lake, beach, or ocean. I look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff as we continue climbing higher together as Bighorns!
