Beattie Elementary Spirit Day Themes for 2017-2018
Suggestions for participation in our spirit days, which usually occur on Fridays:
Wear your favorite school spirit wear clothing when we don’t have an identified theme.
School Colors (Friday, September 8)
Show school spirit by wearing our school colors- Blue and Orange- on days other than those designated with a special theme.
Hat Day (Friday, September 22)
Choose your favorite hat or a hat that is unique and wear it to school.
Dress Wacky Day (Friday, October 13)
Wear bright colors, turn your clothes backwards or inside out, or set a new trend. The key here is to be creative
Fall Frolic Day (Thursday, October 26)
Fall Frolic t-shirts are provided free to all of our students.
Halloween Costume Parade (Tuesday, October 31)
Bring your Halloween costume and remember, no blood, gore, or weapons. Wear your costume for parties and the parade.
Crazy Hair Day (Friday, November 10)
Style your hair in crazy ways with spikes, pig tails or pony tail, colorfully dye, or add odd ornaments like rubber bands or hair clips, or wear a silly wig.
Jersey Day (Friday, December 8)
Grab a jersey from your favorite professional or college sports team, or a team you play for. T-shirts with a sports team logo works well also.
Red & Green Day (Thursday, December 21)
The holidays are here. Wear red and green or clothes that have pictures or symbols of the holidays. Santa hats work great too.
Pajama Day (Friday, January 19)
Stay in the pajamas you wore the night before and wear them to school. No slippers though. Students should wear regular shoes.
Crazy Sock Day (Friday, February 2)
Wear colorful socks on your feet, or decorate yourself using socks in creative ways.
Wear Red for Valentine's Day (Wednesday, February 14)
Wear red in celebration of Valentine's Day. Pink or purple are okay too.
Favorite Color (Friday, February 16)
What’s your favorite color? Wear that color, head to toe. Be creative.
Tie Dye Day (Friday, March 9)
Find your favorite piece of tie dyed clothing and wear it to school.
Bubble Gum Day (Friday, March 23)
Bubble gum will be provided for our students to chew during the day.
Sunglasses Day (Friday, April 6)
Wear sunglasses. If you don’t have any, ask to borrow a pair from friends or family members.
Twin Day (Friday, April 20)
Find a friend, and dress the same.
STAR WARS Day (Friday, May 4)
As Obi-Wan Kenobi says, “May the 4th be with you”. Celebrate STAR WARS by wearing anything with the STAR WARS logo or famous characters.
Superhero Day (Friday, May 25)
Dress like your favorite superhero, make your own superhero costume, or wear something with superheroes on it.
Spirit Wear T-Shirts (Thursday, May 31)
Wear any t-shirt you’ve gotten this year or in past years that is a Beattie t-shirt. Consider the fall frolic, Schools on the Move Challenge, or spirit wear you’ve purchased.
